Tender Details
The services to be provided in the context of this call for tenders serve to advise both the BMWK and the Global Carbon Market project on the topics of the international carbon market and related topics. These consultancy services will be delivered from the start of the contract until the end of the project phase on 31.07.2026. The topics on which advice is provided are Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), and other carbon pricing instruments (Emission Trading Schemes and Carbon Taxes). Other areas of focus are Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Long Term Strategies (LTS), Programme of Activities, Standardized Baselines, Digital Infrastructure, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV), Environmental Integrity and Accounting, Results-based Finance, Climate Finance (including the Green Climate Fund), and Sustainability evaluation. The specific services to be provided on these topics are advisory services, knowledge product development, and the presentation and dissemination of respective results. For the advisory services component, the Consultants are tasked with producing different kinds of material, including policy briefs, concise technical papers, comprehensive studies, and detailed technical analyses.
