This assignment contributes to the overall indicator of the PEEM project on reduction of energy consumption in 300 buildings as well as strengthening the institutional framework and capacity buildings through-out the sector. The contractor should build on previous measures, use experience, and create synergies with other development cooperation (DC) efforts. The Contractor is responsible for undertake the following activities to achieve the outputs described in the tender: 1) Implementation of EE measures in refurbishment of 40 non-residential buildings The objective is to carry out the implementation of the EE measures during the refurbishment of 40 non-residential buildings from the following sectors: Hotels, Hospitals, Shopping malls, Office buildings. The contractor will be in charge of selection of the buildings, energy audits of each building, developing EE action plans, following implementation of energy measures and evaluation of energy savings for each building. 2) Implementing Building Energy Management System The Contractor will develop an approach to assist building owners/managers in the process of introducing a Building Energy Management System from the definition of needs to enhanced operation of the system for 10 buildings.
