Description : The GIZ Sector Initiative Global Health supports the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in its role and activities within multilateral initiatives and organisations related to global health and the fight against infectious diseases. It aids the knowledge sharing process from other (bilateral) projects in order to use the German development experiences at the multilateral level. Knowledge gained from the implementation of German (bilateral) programmes on health and social security as well as current trends and events from international discussions and Germany''s multilateral commitments, with a special focus on BMZ core priorities, are to be made publicly available to an international expert audience via a web portal called Healthy Developments (HD). Part of the HD platform is the German Health Practice Collection (GHPC), a peer-reviewed series of case studies that seeks to highlight innovative approaches and insights generated by projects.
