Free system planning for the new building for the Frida-Kahlo School Sankt Augustin
453/ Frieda-Kahlo-School New building, free facility planning
The Rhineland Landscape Association intends the services for the new building for the 2.5-day Frida-Kahlo-Foerderschule with the special centerBody-engine development (KME) for approx. 280 students at the Sankt Augustin location.
The existing school building at the Arnold-Janssen-Str. 25a
has been expanded several times due to the continuously increasing number of students, and an additional interim location has been used since 2002operated in Bonn-Vilich.
The dismantling of the existing building and a merging of the two school locations at the Sankt Augustin location was decided by the committees and the administration was commissioned to plan the new building with the purchase of the western property.
With the planningThe new building is commissioned by an architecture firm as part of a negotiation procedure. The assignment takes place in summer 2025, so that the first ideas for the new building are available in autumn 2025.
The aim of the project is the existing school building in sections by oneTo replace a new building with approx. 7, 500m2 usable area for the entire school community at the Sankt Augustin location.
The outdoor facilities are completely new to the access to the Heinrich Hanselmann School, which is still adjacent to the north of the LVR's propertyThe plan.
