2026-42_B6_OU_Neustadt_ENB_DB-Brücke_Örtliche_Bausupervision The Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport is planning to expand the B 6 in the area of the Neustadt am Rübenberge bypass. As part of the expansion, the bridge structure is over the ICE route 1740 of the Deutsche Bahn between Wunstorf and Bremerhaven. The existing structure is a one-piece structure as a prestressed hollow concrete slab with cantilever arms over three fields. The one-piece superstructure is both longitudinal and transverse (road slab and cross member) prestressed. Directly next to the one-piece superstructure of the B 6 is the superstructure of the northern road bridge (also made of prestressed concrete), which crosses the municipal road running south of the B 6. The Nordstraße Bridge shares the abutment foundations with the B 6 bridge.
