2026-1004924_Munich Airport_Project management services for the construction project to expand the baggage sorting hall at GSH-E Terminal 2 Satellite The subject of this tender is project management services for the construction project Baggage sorting hall extension GSH-E at Terminal 2 Satellite. The existing baggage handling system (GFA) in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport has bottlenecks during traffic peaks. To resolve this bottleneck, the baggage sorting system is to be expanded necessary. The aim is to increase the capacity of the Terminal 2 system by creating a maximum of 6-8 additional pick-up circuits by 2029. The implementation should take place on a paved, planned construction site outside of the existing one building structure. In the final state, the expansion of the baggage conveyor system (GFA) will be finally implemented through the “T-Stiel” project. The subject of the award is the creation of an interim solution and its dismantling until completion "T-Stems". (SAT terminal extension) As part of a variant investigation, it was decided, alongside the planned construction of the "T-Stiel" (construction to begin in 2030), as an interim solution to build a free-standing hall (luggage sorting hall extension GSH-E) with a connection to the existing T2 system is to be built.
