With the present tender, a provider for the introduction (conception, implementation and introduction) of an Enterprise Kubernetes platform as well as the delivery of the licenses (subscription), business support and consulting in the area of Kubernetes is evaluated.
The goals to be fulfilled are:
* Building a standardized platform for containerized specialist applications
* Support of a declarative administration (e.g. Gitops, Infrastructure-as-code)
* Implementation of technical client separation (e.g. namespaces, quotas, network insulation, dedicated ingress and eGress endpoints)
* Support of Policy Enforcement Mechanisms (e.g. Grandpa/Gatekeeper, Podsecurity Standards)
* Integration into existing VMware and storage environments based on open standards
* Support hybrid operating models (e.g. optional deployment in public cloud)
* High automation degree at Lifecycle management, updates and cluster commissioning
* Possibility to operate virtual machines (Kubevirt or comparable)
