THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Park Service, CONOPS Central, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Sole Source award E911 System Maintenance & Support for Yellowstone National Park in Yellowstone National Park, WY. Yellowstone National Park has a requirement for software and hardware maintenance and support for the name brand WestTel high-availability NextGen 911 services. Maintenance and support shall consist of replacing any defective equipment, preventative maintenance, attempting to resolve failure of service issues with telecommunications providers, trouble shooting and repair of the software and services, making the appropriate error corrections, basic adds/moves, changes and routing related to PSAP phones. The National Park Service intends to procure E911 Call Taking System Maintenance and Support from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541511 with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 million. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice. Any firm that believes it has the capabilities to provide maintenance and support of this consultation service may contact the Contract Specialist, Sharon LaRosa at Sharon_larosa@nps.gov for more information regarding the requirement or specifications. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government's determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
