Invitation to prequalification for the ministry of children and family development (mcfd), learning & development branch, is looking for qualified suppliers to work with internal subject matter experts to deliver training in the areas of child safety (including child welfare, guardianship, adoptions, permanency planning, and children and youth with special needs). The focus of this training will vary from training for new hires, to more specific and advanced training such as clinical supervision, problematic substance use, and motivational interviewing.
the purpose of this request for qualifications is to qualify consultants experienced in the following service area:
. Facilitators for in-person, blended and online training programs, specialized in child safety and child welfare related training delivery. This pre-qualified list requires child welfare specialists.
based on the review of the rfq responses the province intends to establish a list of qualified suppliers who, on an "as, if and when requested" basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into multiple contract(s) for provision of the following services:
facilitation for face-to-face, blended or online delivery
a) delivering a variety of innovative learning and training activities, through the use of adult learning techniques and tools in a face-to-face / blended / online environment;
b) incorporating knowledge of issues and trends in the social service sector, including child safety (recognizing and responding to suicide risk, trauma focused-cognitive behavioural therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy-anxiety, early psychosis intervention) and indigenous cultural competency;
c) providing feedback to learners regarding progress / performance;
d) providing feedback related to training effectiveness and recommendation of improvements or revisions to training design and materials when appropriate;
