Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will be issued. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has a requirement for a turbine guide bearing to be re-babbitted. The work will include removing the existing babbitt, inspecting the bore for possible repairs, re-tinning the entire bonding surface, and applying new babbitt. The government anticipates awarding this procurement as a firm fixed price effort. Solicitation number 140R6025Q0041 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333613 ¿ Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing with an associated small business size standard of 750 employees.Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov to be considered for award.Offerors are cautioned to carefully review the offer submission requirements.
