This project includes work require replacement of portions of existing sanitary sewer pipes and adjacent manhole structures through open-cut excavation at 33 separate sites. The total estimated length of sanitary sewer pipe to be replaced is approximately 10, 500 lineal feet, and ranges from 8-inch to 18-inch diameter located in city of Pontiac. Temporary sewer bypass pumping, dewatering, removal and replacement of pavement and utility conflicts, traffic control, restoration, and post-rehabilitation inspection are also included in the project.
