The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, intends to award a sole source purchase order to a verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in accordance with 38 U.S.C. 8127(b) and VAAR 819.7008.
The requirement is for Physicist Survey of Radiation Equipment, including annual radiation physics quality assurance inspections for diagnostic imaging systems (x ray, ultrasound, MRI, PET/CT, and nuclear medicine equipment). These services must be performed by a qualified diagnostic medical physicist trained and credentialed to ensure compliance with ACR and MQSA standards.

A sole source award is authorized because:
LBT is a verified SDVOSB capable of meeting all technical and regulatory requirements.
