Pablo Neruda College is the last metal-framed college in the Department dating from 1975. It welcomes 277 students at the start of the 2023/2024 school year for a capacity of 425 students. SEGPA closed in 2019. The college is in a proven state of disrepair, exterior metal structures present corrosion pathologies. The lack of thermal insulation and the single-tube heating distribution make it energy-intensive. The presence of asbestos in all buildings (floor, wall, ceiling, roller shutters, etc.) complicates the work of maintaining and updating the necessary regulatory standards.
