Description of the provision: Works of the new pumping station Phase 2 of the Urb. Bruc Residential.
Procedure: Type of processing: Urgent Justification of the urgent processing: Given article 119 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts (LCSP), the declaration of urgency of the procurement file in the cases of an urgent need or when, for reasons of public interest, the award must be accelerated. In this specific case, the acceleration of the procedure is essential and cannot be postponed for the following reasons:• The execution of the replacement works is linked to a grant that establishes insurmountable deadlines for execution and justification. The risk of not complying with these times implies the imminent loss of the public funds granted, which is a serious detriment to the public interest and the objectives of the action.•The procurement file has already suffered a significant delay in its processing due to the closure of Phase I and the modifications of the project, which has drastically reduced the margin of time available for complete the bidding, award and execution of the works before the grant deadline. Considering the time constraints of the grant and the accumulated backlog, it is necessary to expedite the procurement process to carry out the works of replacement as soon as possible and ensure the use of public resources allocated, thus complying with the reason of public interest that enables urgent processing.
