Description : The purpose of the project is the improvement of transport conditions and travel times on the railway corridor Bar-Vrbnica. In this context the tenderer will provide construction works for the adaptation and reconstruction of the existing cross border railway station building Bijelo Polje on the Bar - Vrbnica railway line to become a joint border station between Montenegro and Serbia, in accordance with the Montenegrin legislation and EU standards. The construction works will provide appropriate working conditions and enable parallel control for Montenegrin and Serbian cross border authorities. This will exclude the need for double stopping of trains and decrease custom control/travel time by 30 min.
The works contract will be implemented under the General Conditions for Works Contracts financed by the European Union Budget or the European Development Fund (EDF).
