The Contracting Authority's total of +/- 1250 workplaces are spread across several locations, such as the provincial government building, but also outdoor locations such as bridges and locks. You can log in to the digital workplace at those workplaces. That digital workplace currently consists of an Intune-based workspace. In terms of hardware, this workplace currently largely consists of a laptop, with one or more screens, keyboard, mouse and in many cases a webcam. In addition, users have the option to connect the laptop via USBC at all workstations. A number of employees use a PC or Laptop that is suitable for more demanding operations, such as CAD applications and working with packages from the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. There's so much going on may have used standard types of hardware. Future situation In order to continue to respond effectively and flexibly to future wishes and requirements from the organization, the digital workplace, including hardware, may be possible in the future subject to changes/adjustments. When purchasing hardware, it is therefore important that the Contractor can be a discussion partner to contribute ideas to the product selection so that it optimally meets the stated requirements and wishes. The monitors will will be End of Life by mid-2027 and will need to be replaced. We want to tackle this as a so-called “big bang” to continue to offer uniformity to our end users. This request will then be a project assignment including advice, model selection, installation and... implementation within all locations in the province of Groningen. For other hardware, this mainly concerns the annual replacement of laptops, desktops, telephones, etc.
