Despite growing attention to CVDs as a work-related health issue, practical resources available to workplace actors (such as employers, (HR) managers, workers and their representatives, OSH professionals and/or occupational health services) for the prevention of work-related CVDs, RTW of workers after a CVD event and/or RAT of workers with chronic CVDs remain scarce and fragmented. Such workplace resources span a wide range of types, from risk assessment tools, workplace guides and protocols to awareness-raising and training materials. Such resources may exist across the EU, national, sectoral, social partner and workplace level but have not been sufficiently made visible and shared among workplace actors. There is therefore a need to systematically map and compile such resources, to critically assess them, and to make them accessible in a format useful to workplace actors.
