The subject of the procurement is a procurement package, which consists of planning the installation of ATC (Automatic Train Control) and RN (Radio Network) devices, procurement and installation of components for work trains used in metro maintenance as part of the Helsinki Metro new CBTC system. The scope covers a maximum of nine work trains, of which eight are existing work trains and one is an additional work train (tamper) currently being procured. Basic requirements and general design for installation are provided By the METKA project responsible for urban traffic CBTC system reform and the ATC and RN suppliers implementing the project. Key planning tasks included in the implementation planning included in the procurement are: • detailed preparation of electrical plans (based on the general plan provided by the customer) for each of the four work train families• preparation of detailed mechanical plans (based on the general requirements provided by the employer) for each of the four work train families• preparation of component and installation drawings, material lists and installation instructions for all work trains• communicating with the customer about all changes and updates to the master plan necessary as a result of the design and to confirmation documents The procurement also includes the following installation work: • Procurement of the electrical and mechanical components needed for the installation • Mechanical installation of the components supplied by the customer and procured by the supplier to work trains...
