In the commune of Bresse, the ROE2081 structure corresponds to a protection threshold for a gravity sewerage pipeline crossing the bed of the Moselotte downstream of the confluence of the Chajoux with the Moselotte. During the floods of November and December 2023, the structure was partially washed away and the pipe exposed threatened the safety of the water quality of the Moselotte. Emergency works were carried out in 2024 and 2025. However, it is important to understand that the pipeline is not not sufficiently protected for the long term and that the latter reappears regularly with floods. Obstacle ROE2081 is included in the program for prioritizing interventions to restore the ecological continuity of classified watercourses and list 2 in the Rhine Meuse basin validated on January 16, 2020 by the Technical Secretariat of the Rhine Meuse basin. The project owner thus identified the project to restore ecological continuity in accordance with ROE2081 as a pilot site for the program. overall.
