This procurement is for four (4) Reverse Formed Wedge Wire Screen Baskets required for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a Sole Source procurement, and the resulting award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The proposed contract action involves items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Federal Screen Products Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Federal Screen Products Inc. is uniquely qualified to perform the required services due to their proprietary knowledge and experience. The requested parts are direct replacements for existing shipyard equipment. These are "one-for-one" replacements and must be procured from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to meet shipyard operational specifications. Specifications are provided in Attachment A - Technical Capability Statement RFQ N4215826QE003. A completed Request for Quote - RFQ (SF 1449 - N4215826QE003) must be submitted with the offer.
