Tender Details

This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by Loyalist Township (the “Township”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Supply and Delivery of Winter Sand, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The Township is looking to obtain 4500 tonnes of winter road sand which meets OPSS. PROV 1004. The successful bidder shall supply and deliver the material to 748 County Road 6, Bath, ON. The bidder shall supply a 40- stacker for Township staff to utilize for stacking of the sand at no additional cost.
This shall be a two-year tender with option to extend to a third year. Year two and three the successful bidder shall supply 2500 tonnes annually. This quantity is subject to change up or down depending on storage capacity within the County Road 6 facility.
The successful bidder shall not commence delivery of material until the Agreement has been executed by both parties and the roof replacement at the County Road 6 sand dome has been completed. The roof replacement is currently anticipated to be completed by August 17, 2026.
