Department of Public Works, Fort Leavenworth, KS is seeking current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to work that includes but is not limited to General construction: The goal for this project is to replace windows and frames of 184 windows on the north side of an historic building, Building 52. The windows are located on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the building. Replacement windows will be aluminum-clad wood and will relatively match the appearance of the existing wood windows being removed. These would be double hung, 2 over 2, double pane, and colonial red in color. Most window frames will also require replacement. Existing interior casing / trim to remain and repair as needed.
