WIGEV - Green Laundry Information about the announcement: The aim of the current award procedure is the long-term rental of a (possibly new) laundry building for the needs of the Vienna Health Association (abbreviated as “WIGEV”, “client”) “AG”). For this purpose, a rental agreement for a (possibly newly built) laundry building should be concluded between the client and the successful bidder in the procurement process. The Vienna Health Association operates to care for its Clinics and care facilities have the laundry and cleaning service unit (short: “SWR”). The existing SWR (formerly “Central Laundry of the City of Vienna”) was built in the 1960s and forms an essential part of the supply infrastructure of the WIGEV. Due to the age of the systems, the structural conditions and the fact that the energy supply will expire in the medium to long term, there is a need for action to ensure the future supply of laundry.
