Abstract: Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council is looking for a supplier to implement a Wide Area Network (WAN), Internet Breakout Connectivity, Microsoft Express Route and supporting services across the Council`s locations in Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole.The supplier will be required to provide all software, hardware, connectivity, configuration and support to meet the Council`s requirements for the provision of the WAN. The Council requires currently 86 connections at 83 sites and all to be installed by the end of April 2021. It is essential that the supplier delivers a flexible service, with emphasis on scalability to meet the future IT requirements and service provision of BCP Council.The Council will be looking to appoint a supplier in late 2019. The supplier will be required to install the Wide Area Network as soon as possible, developing an implementation and transition plan. The Council will only pay rental and support fees once a link is installed, tested and signed off by the Council.
