D2. SCOPE OF WORKD2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Wet demolition/Site clean-up of 785 Main street - Foundation to remain in place.D2.2 The funds available for this Contract are Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300, 000) D2.3 Further to C6, (a) The City has applied for the Demolition Permit on behalf of the Contractor; Effective January 1, 2023, the Demolition Contractor must have their City of Winnipeg demolition contractor license and therefore be allowed to complete the permit process to demolish a building/structure or a part of a building/structure.(b) The City has arranged to have the gas and hydro connections disconnected and meters removed by others.(c) ACM removal as per specification listed under Part E - Specifications(d) The awarded contractor must notify the Workplace Safety and Health Director-s Office at least 5 days before beginning the work to alter or demolish the building structure that contains ACM that may release into the atmosphere as per Regulation 37.8(2). The contractor must also supply the Contract Administrator the Workplace Safety and Health Tracking number information for our records a minimum of Two (2) days prior to starting onsite.(e) Awarded Contractor to provide a Structural Engineers report detailing the demolition process ensuring the safety of neighboring structures.
