STATEMENT OF WORK
Program Office: USCIS/MD/OI/DMD/FCB
Project Location: 5160 Richton Street, Montclair, CA
Completion Date: Must be completed no later than 180 days after contract award.
Work Hours: 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday thru Friday.
OVERVIEW:
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) needs to increase its shelving capacity to store PPE, secure/non- secure items and printing supplies at its Western Forms Center (WFC) in Montclair, CA. The project is to increase additional rack storage capacity to remove pallets from aisles. Currently, the storage racks cannot be secured to the floor resulting in safety hazards and repeated safety violations as determined by the Safety Officer.
The Orbiter Pallet Shuttle System or equal system in Bay E.
The service includes providing an SSI Orbiter rack or equal, two (2) SSI Orbiter shuttle or equal, remote controls, an extra set of batteries, safety fence, impact protection, charging cabinet & mobile charger, freight to site, and installation/commissioning supervision. The installation work performed by the contractor shall comply with all applicable international building codes and other local codes and ordinances required at WFC.
Demolition Services: It is the contractor's responsibility to carefully dismantle the existing shelving system and prepare the space for the installation of the new shelving system. The existing shelving will be stored in a location (to be determined) within the warehouse and reutilized in another area of the warehouse. NOTE: The contractor shall not be required to re-install this shelving. The Government will ensure that all the materials are removed from the existing shelving prior to the system is dismantled.
