Based on the project phasing and scopes developed, geotechnical services may be provided under various project names and numbers.Proposed projects include the construction of a new hospital and central plant, the construction of a new parking structure, and the renovation of the existing Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit building, a 2-story, 40, 000 SF addition to the existing hospital constructed in 2012. Site circulation and utility improvements are also planned for the project.The hospital and parking structure will be constructed using the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) and Design-Build (DB) delivery methods, respectively. The project aims to achieve LEED Gold, at a minimum.It is expected that the California Department of Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI) and other state agencies will review and approve the geotechnical reports prepared for this project.The construction cost for the project has not yet been determined and is dependent upon completion of concept design, design options, and phasing.The complete RFQ packet will be available at http://www.uclaplanroom.com on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
