Tender Details

The Contractor will perform the NFI ground sampling data collection for fourteen (14) samples in Arrow, Boundary, Kootenay Lake, and Revelstoke TSAs according to the standards, procedures, and requirements outlined in this document. Two samples are on private land, and one is in a provincial park. Permission to enter these areas and measure the plots has already been or will be secured by the Ministry on behalf of the Contractor. An extra protocol for this contract will be environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling. This is a relatively straight forward and non-time-consuming procedure to be done in conjunction with the soil bulk density sampling. Training will be provided prior to the field season, and the few necessary supplies will also be provided.
