The documents will then be shared with the proponent via email. The Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) Redevelopment Project is a significant two-site health campus initiative located in Moosonee and Moose Factory. The Moose Factory site involves the construction of a new Ambulatory Care Centre (MFI ACC). The Moosonee site comprises a new state-of-the-art 36-bed hospital, a 32-bed Long-Term Elder Care Home (LTC), an Annex Building to accommodate non-acute health and support services, staff accommodations, and a patient hostel to support patients and clients travelling from WAHA's coastal communities.The Project is funded by the Provincial and Federal Governments. Pomerleau Healthcare Partners is the constructor for the Moosonee site, which is being delivered under a Progressive P3 Design-Build-Finance (DBF) Project Agreement.The Moose Factory site scope of work was recently added to the Project Agreement through a variation. Invoices related to this scope of work will be submitted separately on a monthly basis.A second component of the Project involves significant municipal infrastructure upgrades within the Town of Moosonee (ToM).
