TO BE PERFORMED AT STATION WXM-33 LOCATED IN JOHNSTOWN, PA. NO SET ASIDE IS TO BE USE FOR THIS SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT. THE ASSOCIATED NAICS CODE IS 811210.
THE SOLE SOURCE DETERMINATION IS BASED ON NOAA-S REQUIREMENT THAT PENNON ORGANIZATION DBA WITF, INC. IS THE ONLY VENDOR THAT CAN PERFORM THE SERVICES BECAUSE THE WEATHER RADIO TOWER IS LOCATED ON PENNON ORGANIZATION DBA WITF, INC.-S PROPERTY AND AS SUCH, THEY ARE SOLELY IN CHARGE OF THEIR FACILITIES MAINTENANCE. DUE TO THE FACT THAT PENNON ORGANIZATION DBA WITF, INC. IS THE OWNER OF THE FACILITY THAT THE NWR CANNOT BE ACCESSED BY ANY OTHER VENDOR. PENNON ORGANIZATION DBA WITF, INC.-S STAFF HAS KNOWLEDGE OF THE NWS TRANSMITTER AND ITS COMPONENTS DUE TO BEING ON-SITE DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS. THE PENNON ORGANIZATION DBA WITF, INC. ENGINEERS ARE AVAILABLE TO RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES 24 HOURS A DAY AND 7 DAYS A WEEK.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: DATE OF AWARD TO 04/30/2027 WITH FOUR OPTION YEARS.
