Description Information : The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division (EPD) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications/Performance as described in O.C.G.A. § 50-22-1 et seq., (Managerial Control Over Acquisition of Professional Services) from qualified engineering firms to assist EPD in undertaking (i) watershed Flood Risk Mapping Assessment and Planning (MAP) Projects. These projects will allow for the development of Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports for specified watersheds, (ii) the completion of Base Level Engineering Studies in fourteen (14) watersheds, and (iii) enhancements to the website www.georgiadfirm.com to include hydraulic model search and water surface elevation grids.
