Tender Details

Tender are invited for Base Bid Item #1 : Carpenter Hill ES Repair cracked split face block and mortar joints not to exceed 400 LF. Base Bid Item #2 : Hays High School clean exterior walls in designated locations near the front Entrance (east facing walls), side walls (north facing walls) and on each side of themain entrance of the high school. All windows (frame to masonry) are to have sealant replaced with polyurethane sealant. Brick joints in walls are to have sealant removed and replaced with polyurethane sealant. Silicon wet glazing sealant will be installed at window frame seams and glass to window frame intersections. Base Bid Item #3 : Hemphill ES (front and side walls only) Windows at front and side walls are to have sealants removed and new silicon glazing installed. Silicon sealants to be installed on all window frame seams. Window frame to block joints are to have existing sealants removed and polyurethane sealant installed. Block joints are to be cleaned free of old sealants and new backer rod and polyurethane sealant installed.
Notes : A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, November 06, 2018 at 10 : 00 AM at the Hays CISD Central Administration Building Annex A, 21003 IH 35, Kyle, TX 78640. Job site inspections will follow at each facility. This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement.
