1 each - wash rack, 14 ft. Wide x 32 ft. Long, grit impregnated, epoxy coated steel, 6 ft. High side walls. Ramps both ends, per the attached purchase description. Award to inculde installation.
Synopsis: fiberglass and aluminum munitions containers come into the facility and need to be cleaned prior to refurbishment. Two systems, one using a soap for cleaning and another using formic acid, are requested as the there are two specific needs for the process depending on the container in question. A self-contained wash rack is needed for overspray capture and water reclamation. Spent water is captured, treated, and held for reuse or discharged. The system described below would be a treat and discharge type system.
System #1 - water treatment and discharge to sanitary waste stream
wash rack: a 14 ft. Wide x 32 ft. Long grit impregnated epoxy coated steel wash rack with center french drain with cover and will have 6 ft. High side walls and ramps on both ends. Hose hooks will be located on opposite corners and allow two operators to work simultaneously. Rack will be no more than 7 in. Tall with a diamond plate, epoxy coated surface with non-slip coating for a safe and durable work surface. The side walls will be galvanized sheet and extend 6 ft. From the floor to contain over spray. A diaphragm pump will connect to the end of the rack below the ramp for evacuation of spent water. The rack will be rated to hold up to 12, 000lbs per axle.
Water treatment: the system starts with a weir constructed of 10ga 304l stainless steel which receives waste water from the recovery pump and features an inclined plate separator to settle solids in the large initial chamber. Water flows then to an oil removal chamber where polypropylene coalescing material forms hydrocarbons into droplets which are collected by a disk skimmer. High-pressure, high flow filtration removes suspended solids, heavy metals and volatile organic compounds. The final step is stainless steel absolute filter bringing the particle size down to 7 microns. Water is then discharged to the base sanitary sewer / industrial waste stream. All functions are controlled by system plc and control panel. The control panel for this system will be sized to allow for future modification to switch to a closed loop system.
Water delivery: existing pressure washers would be used for application of pressurized water to the items being washed. A remote panel will be included that would allow the operator to start or stop water recovery from the wash pad. If possible, existing pressure washers could be integrated as well

(based on the make and model of the existing units).
