Tender are invited for Waste Water Treatment Plant

Notice Details The Town of Rothesay is seeking proposals from qualified Engineering Firms for the Preliminary and Detailed Design and Construction Management for a Biological Nutrient Removal Wastewater Treatment Facility to be built at Sagamore Point in the town of Rothesay.

The facility will be constructed on the site of one of the Town's three existing lagoons.

The proponents will be responsible for reviewing all of the background material and describing, in detail, how their firm will address each of the items defined in the (attached) terms of reference. No additional information will be provided during the RFP development Phase.

This project is a jointly funded venture between Rothesay and the federal and provincial governments. The timeline for construction and completion of the project is clearly set out by the Town's funding partners and described within the terms of reference. It is expected that the project design, with an anticipated consultant engagement award in October 2021, will be fast tracked to allow for the initial tender to be advertised early in the second quarter of 2022.
