Abstract: The services in lot 1A for skips and container waste collections may be carried out at any TfL head office building, any other TfL site or any Greater London Authority (GLA) site and encompasses the following waste streams:— mixed commercial industrial waste, — dry mixed recycling, — mixed construction waste, — ballast, — wood, — Pallet recycling, — food waste collection services with bin exchange/ cleaning (at nominated sites), — glass collection services, — confidential waste collection services (including paper, clothing, bulk items and small electronic devices such as USBs), — toner cartridge recycling, — sleepers and treated wood, — assistance with fly-tipping incidents, — compactors at nominated sites including an emergency response service for dealing with faults, routine cleaning and staff familiarisation training, — supply of metal wheelie bins (1 100 L, 770 L, 660 L and 240 L), and— interior confidential recycling bins (120 l).The services will be a mixture of scheduled and ad-hoc.
