It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Waste Management Services - In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms. 1. IntroductionIt is the objective of this contract to provide the Court with a solid waste management and disposal solution. This means the successful vendor will provide the Court with solutions for all waste related issues.1.1 General requirements• The contractor will dispose of all waste in accordance with local law. • An environmentally sound solution is required in which aspects of sustainability, separation, reuse and recycling are respected.• The Court may require and may therefore request proof of correct disposal for its records. The contractor will cooperate and provide all required information. • The contractor-s personnel and/or vehicles will be clearly marked or uniformed to indicate their firm.• The contractor-s personnel is properly trained in the operation of their equipment and have access, on site, to any potentially necessary protective wear.• The contractor will leave the exterior of the building where the containers are located in a clean and presentable condition.• In the event of a default in performance, FMU will communicate the details of the default to the contractor in writing.
