The purpose of this tender is to purchase suitable waste bins that can optimally facilitate separate waste collection within the UMCG. With this we want to reduce the amount of residual waste and the associated incineration costs, and make a targeted contribution to achieving our UMCG waste target: 75% recycling in 2030. By separating waste in a structured way into four streams: PMD, Paper, GFE and Residual Waste, we make it easier for employees, patients and visitors to properly dispose of waste wisely and thus increase recycling.
