Abstract: Background InformationIn our SR15 Regulatory Period Research and Innovation funding was secured to run a pilot project in St Andrews using a Waste Advisory Services specialist to help manage the issue of fat, oil and grease (FoG) being discharged to our wastewater network from food service establishments (FSEs). This pilot project was deemed to be a success, so a bid was made for a funding allocation to be provided for such work in SR21. It has recently been confirmed that this bid was successful, so a new framework is now required for these services going forward due to the anticipated level of spendNew Framework RequirementsScottish Water wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the provision of Waste Advisory Services to provide this service across Pan Scotland for an initial 3 year period with 2 x 1 year extension options.
