NRPC is seeking a qualified technical consultant with experience conducting Road Erosion Inventories in Vermont to join the Private Roads Advisory Team for Phase 1 of a project to oversee and administer a Vermont Private Road Erosion Inventory in the Lake Champlain Basin. The team will work alongside NRPC to 1) Develop and implement criteria for the prioritization of private road segments for REIs; 2) Review and make recommendations for private road standards and revisions to the REI app; and 3) Develop and implement a Technical Assistance program to build capacity for private road erosion inventories in sub-watersheds. The consultant will also remain on board during Phase 2 to help answer any questions that arise when road erosion inventories are being conducted. See attached RFP document for more information.
