With this contract notice, the Uusimaa ELY Center will launch the preparation of the general plan and the environmental impact assessment of the tendering process with the project "VT 2 Improvement between Nummela-Karkkila, Vihti and Karkkila, Master Plan and EIA" Highway 2 on Helsinki-Pori.connects Uusimaa, Southwest Finland and Satakunta. Highway 2 is a main thread on the main bus and part of the TEN-T network. The road is also part of the special transport route. The importance of the road is emphasized in the absence of a direct railway connection. The planning area is bordered in the south of Nummela in Vihtito the end of the two -wheel road and the Polar interchange in the north. The task includes e.g. the preparation of the preparation of the preliminary general planning, the Environmental Impact Assessment Procedure (252/2017), the preparation of the evaluation program and evaluation report, and the supplementation of the report if necessary.The task also includes eg. surveys, project evaluation, organization and implementation of dialogue, information management.
