The 100 Budapest - Szolnok - Debrecen - Nyíregyháza - Záhony railway line, Városliget branch - Kőbánya-Teher section Renovation of a 2.5 km long, electrified, two-track railway line. Városliget branch - Kőbánya-Teher renovation Budapest No. 100 - Szolnok - Debrecen - Nyíregyháza - Záhony railway line, Városliget branch - Kőbánya-Teher section Renovation of a 2.5 km long, electrified, gap-free, double-track railway line. The permitted speed for the line section is 80 km/h. The maximum allowed axle load 210 kN. In terms of suburban and long-distance passenger traffic, it is one of the most important line sections in the country, on which freight traffic is also significant. Its most recent comprehensive renovation took place in the early 1970s, and accordingly, it is complete infrastructure is outdated, as a result it can only be walked at a speed of 40-60 km/h. The line of the track was mostly built in the 1940s on a 4-5 m high embankment built in an urban environment, while in the vicinity of the stations (Kőbánya-Teher, Kőbánya-Kispest) runs at ground level. There are a significant number of large-scale artefacts on the section along the embankment (Thököly út, Egressy út, Mogyoródi út, Kerepesi út). In the vicinity of the island platform stop (Zugló), the horizontal alignment is characterized by the track separation, the typical linear track axis distance 4.00 m.
