The Health and Environment Department of the City of Zurich (GUD) intends to obtain a client-capable software solution in the form of a web application for coordinating volunteer work. The platform is intended to support both urban volunteer coordinators in the organization and management of volunteer operations and offer volunteers the opportunity to find suitable operations and to manage their commitment independently. It is intended to provide the solution to other departments within the city administration in order to enable central and efficient coordination of volunteers across organizational borders.
