THIS IS A Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington currently intends to award a contract for Education and Vocational Training for prisoners confined at the Northwestern Joint Regional Correctional Facility (NWJRCF). The NWJRCF prison inmate population is located at 20000 Alder Rd, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA 98433. The contractor shall provide instructors and state approved curriculum for a Vocational Training Program to provide prisoners with the knowledge and skills for future employment, preparation for certification, degrees, and licensure. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested businesses (large and small) to respond to this source sought notice. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), must describe their identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price, i.e., information which may help support a set-aside. The proposed contract type and any set aside strategy will be determined after proper market research has been conducted. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The estimated period of performance will consist of a base year plus 4 option years, with is a phase-in period commencing in August 2026. Specifics regarding the number of option years and phase-in period will be provided in the solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future.
