vivarium cage wash equipment
the rfp is an invitation to submit offers for the provision of required equipment located within the proposed utsc vivarium cage wash area to replace existing. the required equipment includes a double door floor mounted cage & rack washer complete with hydraulic lift (dirty side only) a double door medium sized sterilizer, a double door cage & bottle washer and a bottle filler. an alternate to the hydraulic lift method would be for the proponent to provide a low profile sump solution to the cage & rack washer that could accommodate loading and unloading of racks via a built in-place ramping solution. refer to appendix e rfp particulars section a. the deliverables for the detailed performance description of all equipment.
there is a mandatory site visit on february 13 and february 15, 2017. details are in the rfp document.
