Tender Details

The object of the acquisition is four (4) video EEG (VEEG) equipment (hereinafter "VEEG equipment" or "Equipment") of the HUS Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Procurement Unit"), which are used for long-term (LTM) recording of the electroencephalogram (EEG) in the video monitoring of severe epilepsy in studies of patients with epilepsy and patients under consideration for epilepsy surgery. In addition, the purchase includes a video recording and monitoring system (hereinafter referred to as the "System"), which enables the monitoring of ongoing investigations and the equipment controlling cameras from several different VEEG monitoring points. The equipment will be purchased for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) of the New Children's Hospital (ULS) of HUS. The object of the procurement is described in more detail in the request for tenders and its appendices, especially in the appendix Procurement description of the object. Due to the nature of the procurement, keeping the delivery times and installation are of essential importance to the Customer. The selected supplier must deliver the installation schedule in advance, as well as commit to the final installation schedule. New hardware the installation will suspend the clinical operation of HUS for a maximum of two (2) weeks. The subscriber's primary wish for the closing week is week 42 (October 12-16, 2026). The equipment must be installed and in working order by 27 November 2026 (week 48). The purpose of the procurement is to replace the VEEG equipment currently in use.
