The objective of this proposal is to establish a contractual relationship with a Vendor or Vendors for Vehicle Repairs and Maintenance on our Landscaping, Courier and Maintenance Vehicles. This relationship will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs. The YRDSB spends approximately $200, 000.00 per year for vehicle repairs and maintenance. This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee, rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract. We have approximately 65 fleet vehicles ranging from mini vans, standard and tall cargo vans, dump body pick-up trucks and cube vans.
There are approximately 233 locations in the York Region District School Board.
It is the intent of the Proposal to provide and outline terms and conditions necessary to provide servicing of the fleet vehicles, acceptable to the York Region District School Board.
The work involved in this proposal shall include the supply of all necessary personnel, equipment and materials required to carry out the services as outlined in this proposal.
Proponents are hereby invited to bid the lowest net prices, including all delivery charges for which the Proponent is prepared to furnish the goods requested herein, in accordance with the guidelines expressed in the enclosed document.
