Vehicle-based IT support The rescue service intends to procure a vehicle-based IT support for the organization's emergency vehicles (approx. 80 units). Vehicle-based IT support means hardware and software that in vehicles can handle alarm reception, navigation, status signaling, input support and management support. The goal of the procurement is to get one and the same system from one supplier. Uniformity is sought in the form of a common platform of hardware and software. Service and support as well as updates must be managed without operational disturbances. Depending on the function and vehicle type, different vehicles must be equipped with different hardware and software. The vehicle types available are resource vehicles, rescue vehicles, management vehicles and FIB vehicles, and depending on the vehicle type, the requirement specification is adapted then.
