St James-s Hospital needs to replace a VCTE liver scanner for the Department of GU Medicine and Infectious Diseases Department. The requirement is for:-A non-evasive solution for the detection of liver steatosis and/or liver fibrosis -A device that uses Vibration-Controlled Transient Elastography (VCTE) technique for liver stiffness measurement (LSM), and controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) -Proof of diagnostic performance evidenced by peer review in widely recognised publications -CE marked and in full compliance with MDR 2017/745 regulation -A portable solution -Suitable for use for adult patients, including bariatric patients -Availability of parts and maintenance by qualified personnel guaranteed for 8 years from date of purchase
