Description: On the basis of an initial assessment for various structures on the Coast, the client has determined what the determining failure modes and the determining random variables are for the various construction parts. A proposal has been formulated which resistances of the construction (s) must be increased to what extent in order to meet the safety requirements.

This mainly concerns the assessment of:

- Fishing lock in Ostend,

- Mercator lock in Ostend,

- Demey lock in Ostend,

- Drainage construction of the Camerlinckx articulation in Ostend

- Vandamme lock in Zeebrugge,

- Visartsluis in Zeebrugge,

- Drainage construction of the Schipdonk and Leopold Canal in Zeebrugge

The contractor will be assigned assignments that mainly relate to the investment projects as mentioned above and will carry out an architectural design study for the work that is necessary for the above-mentioned structures or construction parts ...
