Parts of the Researh Involve Sampling Salmon Via Anlging and Then Tracking Salmon that Are Implanted with Acoustic, Sonar Tags. the Fish will be Tracked Throughout the Great Lakes, Including in Heavy Weather Conditions, So the Boat Must be Capable of Running Safely Well Offshore (Greater Than 30 Km off Shore) and in Choppy Conditions. the New Big Water Centre Console Boat Should be Designed for Fishing on the Great Lakes and Other Large Water Bodies.
